Product details

The PoolTux BT0024 is an Emperor solid winter cover for a 24' round above ground pool.

The material

It is built from 8 mil black on tan triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. The edges carry a sewn in polypropylene cord for reinforcement, which is where the load concentrates once the cover is loaded with water and pulled at from every side through the winter. Aluminum grommets are spaced every three feet around the edge for the cable.

What comes with it

The cover ships with a deluxe aluminum cable winch and a vinyl coated steel lock down cable, so there is nothing else to buy to close the pool, plus a warranty card. A solid cover blocks light and debris and also collects rain and snowmelt, so it helps to keep a cover pump on hand for the closed season.
