Product details
Raypak 010420F is the factory conversion kit that takes an atmospheric millivolt pool heater from propane over to natural gas. It is listed for the 336A and 406A model sizes.
One direction only
This kit converts propane to natural gas. It does not do the reverse. The two fuels burn at different pressures and need different orifice sizing, which is exactly what a conversion kit supplies, so the direction matters and the wrong kit will not work.
Millivolt, not electronic ignition
Raypak built the atmospheric heater in more than one ignition configuration. This kit is the one listed for the millivolt pilot version. Read the rating plate on your heater and match both the model number and the ignition type before ordering.
A fuel conversion changes how the appliance burns gas. In most jurisdictions that puts the work in the hands of a licensed gas technician, and having it done properly is what keeps the heater safe and the warranty intact.
