Product details
The Raypak 008155F is the genuine low-Nox natural gas pilot assembly for RP2100 digital gas pool heaters. It covers the digital models R185A, R265A, R335A and R405A as well as the later R185B, R265B, R335B and R405B.
What the pilot does
The pilot lights the main burner and gives the gas valve the flame signal that keeps it open. When the pilot orifice fouls, the hood cracks or the flame sits out of position, the heater either refuses to fire at all or lights and then shuts down a few seconds later. Both symptoms send techs to the pilot first.
Before you order
This is the natural gas assembly for low-Nox heaters. Confirm the fuel and the model on the heater rating plate, because a propane heater takes a different pilot and a standard heater is not the same part.
