Product details

The Polaris R0538100 is the top housing cover for the 3900 Sport pressure side pool cleaner. It is the genuine Polaris OEM part, supplied in blue.

The same shell in a different color

Polaris also sells this housing as R0669900 in white and silver, and describes the two as identical. If you are matching an existing cleaner, pick the color you already have. If you are not, either part will fit.

When to replace it

The top housing takes the sun, the chemistry and every knock the cleaner gives a wall or a step. Over the years the plastic hardens and starts to crack, usually at a mounting point first. A broken housing stops holding the cleaner square, and the internals it was covering start collecting the debris the machine is meant to be carrying away.

What is included

The cover only. The wheels, bearings, feed system and bag mount are separate Polaris parts, so plan the repair around what has actually failed rather than ordering the shell and hoping.
