Balboa G7418 is the FloThru LE heater assembly rated at 4.0kW on 230 volts, supplied with the PS sensor. It is the genuine Balboa part.

The FloThru arrangement

A FloThru heater passes water straight down the tube past the element. That keeps the element fully wet whenever the pump is running and adds very little restriction to the plumbing, which is why the design is used across so much of the Balboa line. The LE version is the variant this part number covers.

Matching the replacement

Heaters in this family come in several combinations of output, voltage and sensor fit, and they are not interchangeable. Before ordering, read the label on the heater you are removing and confirm all three: 4.0kW, 230 volts, and the PS sensor. Electrical work on a spa system should be done with the supply isolated at the breaker.

What is included?

What is it rated at?
4.0kW at 230 volts.
Will it work on 120 volts?
No. It is the 230 volt version. Fitting a 230 volt heater to a 120 volt supply will not give you rated output, so match the voltage of the heater you are replacing.
How do I know I am ordering the right heater?
Read the label on the old heater and match three things: the kilowatt rating, the voltage and which sensors it carries. Balboa builds this line in several combinations and they are not interchangeable.
