Product details

The Blue Square 1145101 is a two inch Y-pipe fitting used to combine valve ports into a single line.

Where it goes

On an equipment pad where two valve ports need to feed one run, the usual approach is a stack of elbows and couplings that eats space and adds joints. This fitting does the same job in one piece, which keeps the plumbing tidier and gives water fewer turns to fight through.

Installing it

Dry fit the whole run first. A Y sets the angle for every pipe downstream of it, and PVC cement does not give you a second chance to rotate it.
