Product details
The Jandy 6586 dual heater interface kit gives an AquaLink RS Dual Equipment System the ability to activate two heaters separately of one another. It is the genuine Jandy part.
Why two heaters need their own control
A pad running a pool and a spa, or a pool and a heated feature, often has two heat sources. Without a dual heater interface the automation has one heater call to give, which means both fire or neither does. The kit separates the two so the system can hold a spa at temperature without running the pool heater alongside it.
Where it comes from
The kit is included with AquaLink RS Dual Equipment Systems from the factory. Ordering it on its own covers a replacement after a failure or a pad being reconfigured for a second heater.
