Product details

The Jandy R0987500 is the rebuild kit for the multiport valve fitted to the SFTM24-2.0 top mount sand filter. It is the genuine Jandy part.

What a rebuild fixes

A multiport valve wears from the inside. The first sign is usually water running out the waste line while the valve is set to filter, because the internal seal no longer separates the ports cleanly. A handle that has become stiff, or a position that drifts under pressure, points the same way.

Why rebuild rather than replace

The top mount valve is meant to be serviced. As long as the valve body and the filter tank are sound, refreshing the internals restores the valve for a fraction of what a complete multiport costs, and it is a job most owners can do with the pump off and the filter drained.
