Product details
The Speck 2920141210 is the diffuser o-ring for the Speck pump range, measuring 90mm across with a 5mm cross section.
What it seals
The diffuser sits over the impeller and turns the impeller output into pressure. This o-ring seals the diffuser against the housing. When it hardens or takes a set, water leaks back around the diffuser instead of going out the discharge, and the pump moves less water than it should for the power it is drawing.
Which pumps
It is carried for the Speck Model 90, E90, ES-90 and S-90, the Model 433 and the HydroStar Model 98. Measure the old ring if you are unsure which one came out of your pump.
Fitting
Seat the ring dry in its groove, then use a thin film of silicone lubricant made for pool o-rings. Do not use petroleum grease, which swells and degrades the rubber.
