Product details

Polaris R0972700 is the motor block kit for the Freedom cordless robotic pool cleaner. It is the genuine Polaris part, supplied as a complete module.

What the motor block does

Everything the Freedom does comes from this module. It drives the cleaner around the floor and walls and it pulls the water that carries debris into the filter canister. When it fails, the cleaner either sits still, moves without picking anything up, or runs for a few minutes and stops.

Before you order

Check the battery block and the charging block first. A tired battery pack produces exactly the same symptoms as a failing motor and is a cheaper fix. If the cleaner is fully charged and still will not drive, the motor block is the next step. Polaris also refers to this part as the Freedom Plus motor in its own listing information, so confirm your model before ordering.
