Product details

The Polaris 9-100-9060 is the factory rebuild kit for the Polaris 360 pressure side pool cleaner. It is the genuine Polaris kit, and it overhauls the head unit rather than patching one part at a time.

What is in the box

An all purpose bag, upper and lower turbine housings, hub caps, stainless e-clips, ball bearings and bearing shields, three Max Trax tires, two double side wheels and one single side wheel, the small and large belt kit, the axle block kit, bag tie collar, transfer pulley and drive shaft assembly, the drive train gear kit with turbine bearing, thrust jet kit, sweep hose barb, base weight, jet retainer clips, the water management system, base assembly, top cover, feed pipe and timer blank assembly, head float, sweep hose complete, hose nuts, hose swivel, feed hose floats and the in-line back-up valve.

When to use it

A 360 that has run for years shows it in the same places: wheels that wobble, belts worn smooth, a bag that no longer holds, and a cleaner that wanders instead of covering the pool. Those parts wear together, so replacing them together restores the whole machine at once. Install instructions are included.

What does this kit actually replace?
The head unit. It carries the all purpose bag, both turbine housings, the drive train gear kit and transfer pulley, ball bearings and shields, e-clips, hub caps, three Max Trax tires, two double side wheels and a single side wheel, the small and large belt kit, axle block kit, thrust jet kit, water management system, base weight, top cover and base assembly, feed pipe and timer blank, head float, sweep hose parts, hose nuts, swivel, feed hose floats and the in-line back-up valve.
When is a rebuild kit the right call?
When the wheels wobble, the belts have worn smooth and the cleaner has stopped tracking properly. At that point several parts are worn at once and the kit costs less than buying them one at a time.
Does it include instructions?
Yes. Install instructions come with the kit.
Is this the same as the tune-up kit?
No. The tune-up kit is a smaller service kit. This is the full factory rebuild, part 9-100-9060, which goes right down to the top cover and base assembly.
