What the control box does

The robot carries no power supply of its own. The control box sits on the deck, takes household power, feeds the cleaner low voltage down the floating cable and holds the cycle logic the machine runs on. If the box is dead, the cleaner does nothing at all.

This is the floor and wall version of the 7240 with the US plug. Check the cable and the plug end first, since a broken conductor inside the cable looks exactly like a failed control box, then match the label on the old unit to R0762500.
