Product details

The Polaris R0516500 is the genuine replacement power supply control unit for the 9300 Sport robotic pool cleaner. It runs on 110 volts and carries a 6 foot cord with a 2 prong plug.

What it does

Everything the cleaner does starts at this box. It takes household power, steps it down for the cleaner and controls the run. When it fails the cleaner does nothing at all, which is a very different symptom from a cleaner that starts and then misbehaves in the water.

Two designs, one part

Polaris supplied this power supply in two different designs over the life of the model. Both are original Polaris units and both work the same, so a box that does not look identical to the one you are replacing is still the right part.

Before you order

Confirm the cleaner is a 9300 Sport, and rule out the outlet and the cable first. A supply that is dead on a circuit you have already proven is the one worth replacing.

Yes. This power supply comes in two different designs. Both are original Polaris units and they work the same.
What are the electrical details?
110v, with a 6 foot cord ending in a 2 prong plug.
How do I know the power supply has failed and not the cleaner?
If the unit shows no life at a known good outlet, or powers up but never drives the cleaner, the supply is the suspect. A cleaner that runs erratically with a working supply usually points at the cable or the motor unit instead.
