Product details

Polaris R0565600 is the floating cable plug kit for the 9300 Sport and 9400 Sport robotic pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.

What it replaces

The plug on the end of the floating cable, where the cable meets the power supply. It is the piece that takes the abuse, because most people unplug a robot by pulling on the cord.

The symptoms

A cleaner that will not start, or one that runs then dies part way through a cycle. Before condemning the power supply, look at the plug: pitted or green pins, a bent contact or a cracked housing all cause the same intermittent fault.

Scope

This kit is the plug, not the whole cable. If the floating cable itself is cut, kinked or has water inside it, that is a separate Polaris part.

Which cleaners does this fit?
The Polaris 9300 Sport and the 9400 Sport robotic pool cleaners.
Does it include the cable?
No. This is the plug kit. The complete floating cable is a separate Polaris part.
Why would the plug need replacing?
Plugs get corroded pins, bent contacts or a cracked housing from being pulled out by the cable. Any of those will stop the cleaner powering up reliably.
My robot cuts out mid cycle. Is this the fix?
It can be. A plug that no longer makes solid contact will drop power intermittently, so it is worth inspecting the pins before suspecting the power supply.
