Quick overview
- Genuine Polaris OEM New factory part R0529400, not an aftermarket tire.
- Fits 9300 and 9300xi The rear tire used on both Sport series robotic cleaners.
- Tire, not the wheel This is the rubber tire alone. The rear wheel it stretches over is a separate Polaris part.
- Traction is everything A robotic cleaner climbs walls on tire grip, and a worn tire is why one starts slipping back down.
- Rear position Order by position: the front tire is a different part number.
- Change them as a pair If one rear tire is worn, the other has done the same hours and is usually close behind.

Product details
Polaris R0529400 is the rear tire for the 9300 and 9300xi robotic pool cleaners. It is a new genuine Polaris part, the same tire fitted at the factory.
Tire or wheel
The tire is the rubber band that stretches over the plastic wheel. Polaris sells them separately, so look at what has actually failed. A tire that has gone smooth, torn or come loose is replaced on its own. A cracked or stripped wheel needs the wheel part instead, and sometimes both go together.
Why worn tires show up as poor climbing
A robot climbs the wall on friction alone. Fresh tread bites; a rounded, polished tire does not. The first sign is usually a cleaner that still drives its pattern on the floor but slides back down the wall or stalls on the tile line. Since the two rear tires wear at the same rate, it is worth changing both while the machine is upside down.
