Product details

The Polaris R0638000 is the Type C motor block for the 9400 Sport and 9450 Sport robotic pool cleaners. It is the genuine Zodiac part sold under the Polaris name.

What the motor block does

The motor block is the sealed unit inside the robot that houses the drive and pump motors. It moves the cleaner across the floor and up the walls and pulls water through the filter canister. When it fails, the rest of the cleaner is usually fine but the robot will not drive, will not pump, or both.

Before you order

Confirm your cleaner is a 9400 Sport or 9450 Sport. Rule out the cable and swivel first, since a damaged cable produces the same dead robot symptoms. The propeller and drive gear kit are separate parts if you want to refresh them at the same time.
