The Polaris R0516800 is the genuine floating cable for the 9300 Sport, 9350 Sport and 9400 Sport robotic pool cleaners. It is 60 feet long and does not have a swivel.
Check the swivel
Polaris builds these cables in swivel and non swivel versions. This one is the non swivel cable. Look at the connector end of the cable currently on your cleaner before you order, because the two are not interchangeable.
Why the cable fails
The cable is the one part of a robotic cleaner that gets pulled, kinked and run over every cycle. Insulation nicks and internal breaks show up as a cleaner that cuts out partway through a run, restarts on its own, or refuses to power up at all when the cable is moved. Once the fault tracks with cable position, replacing the cable is the fix.
