Product details

The Polaris R0726700 is the genuine swivel floating cable for the Polaris 9550 Sport, 9650iQ and Alpha iQ+ robotic pool cleaners. It is the power cord that runs from the power supply on the deck down to the robot, and it is the part to order when the original cable is cut, cracked, waterlogged or permanently twisted.

Why the swivel and the float matter

A robot turns constantly as it works a pool, and every turn puts a twist in a plain cord. The swivel in this cable lets it unwind as the cleaner moves, so it stays free instead of knotting up and shortening the robot's reach. The cable also floats, keeping it on the surface and out of the path of the cleaner on the floor.

Reach and fit

At 70 feet the cable covers a large residential pool with the power supply set at the edge of the deck. It fits the 9550 Sport, the 9650iQ and the Alpha iQ+, so one part covers all three models.

Installation

No tools or wiring are involved. Disconnect the old cable from the cleaner and the power supply, connect the new one and the robot is ready to run again.
