The Hayward W32025ADV is the Pool Vac XL suction side automatic cleaner in the version built specifically for vinyl lined pools. It runs on the suction your filtration system already makes, so no booster pump is involved.

How it cleans

Rather than bouncing around at random, the Pool Vac XL uses Hayward AquaPilot programmed steering to drive a predetermined route across the floor and up the walls. Hayward rates it to cover the pool in under four hours, and it does that quietly because there is no booster pump running at the equipment pad.

Vinyl specific

Hayward builds surface specific versions of this cleaner. This one is set up for vinyl liners, where the drive and contact components need to be gentle on the surface. The concrete version is a different part number, so match the model to your pool.

Running cost

Because it draws from the existing filtration system, there is no second pump to install, wire or run. That keeps both the installation and the ongoing electricity cost lower than a pressure side cleaner that needs its own booster.
