The Raypak H000317 is the genuine PVC union connector kit for Raypak heat pump pool heaters, supplied with a built-in drain. Raypak lists it for the 9350 and 9353.
What the unions do
A pair of unions at the heat pump turns a permanent plumbing run into a serviceable connection. When the unit has to come out, you break the unions instead of cutting and regluing pipe, and the integral drain lets you empty the heat exchanger before a freeze rather than leaving water sitting in it over winter.
Check the model number
The source listing gives the third supported model two different ways, as 10353 in the title and 10355 in the summary. The 9350 and 9353 are consistent throughout. If your unit is a 103 series, read the model off the data plate and confirm before ordering.
