Product details

The Lasco 401-015 is a 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC tee with slip fittings on all three ports.

What it does

A slip tee joins three lengths of pipe at a 90 degree branch, with all three openings sized to glue directly onto 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 pipe. It is molded in white PVC and rated for standard Schedule 40 pressure pipe runs.

Fit and compatibility

This tee fits standard 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe on all three ports, the run and the branch alike. It is also cataloged by Westlake as 401015BC for the same fitting.

Before you order

Confirm the branch line is also 1-1/2 inch, since a reducing tee is needed instead if the branch is a different pipe size than the run. Like other Schedule 40 slip fittings, it is solvent welded: clean and prime all three sockets and the pipe ends, then apply PVC cement and hold the joints together briefly while the cement sets.
