The PoolTux Royal closing bundle for a 16 foot round above ground pool pairs a solid winter cover with a 15k chemical closing kit and a 4 by 4 foot air pillow.

The cover

It is a 5 mil cover in blue on black triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams, cut to 20 feet round so there is a 4 foot overlap past the wall once it is in place.

Securing it

A polypropylene cord is sewn into the edge for reinforcement, and aluminum grommets are spaced every three feet for the cable. A deluxe aluminum cable winch and a vinyl coated steel lock down cable are included to draw the cover down snug.

In the box

Along with the round cover, the winch, the cable and a warranty card, the bundle includes a 15k chemical closing kit and a 4 by 4 foot air pillow. The kit treats the water before the pool sits closed for the season, and the pillow floats under the cover, taking the pressure of expanding ice off the wall while crowning the cover so runoff heads to the edges instead of pooling in the middle.

Ordering by pool size

Order to the 16 foot pool size, not the 20 foot cover size; the larger figure is the cut size with the overlap already built in. The cover carries a 10 year warranty, with the warranty card in the box.
