The PoolTux King closing bundle for a 28' round above ground pool pairs a solid winter cover with a 35k chemical closing kit and a 4.5' x 15' air pillow.

The cover

The cover is 8 mil silver on black triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. Aluminum grommets are spaced every three feet around it, and a deluxe aluminum cable winch with a vinyl coated steel lock-down cable are included to draw the cover down tight against the pool wall.

Sizing

Order by pool size, not cover size. This cover is cut at 32' for a 28' round above ground pool, which is what gives the overlap the winch and cable pull against. A solid cover blocks light and debris and collects rain and snowmelt over the winter, so a cover pump is worth keeping on hand.

The closing kit and air pillow

The 35k chemical closing kit treats the water as the pool is shut down for the season. The 4.5' x 15' air pillow sits under the cover in the middle of the pool: it takes the pressure of expanding ice off the wall and crowns the cover so rain and melt water run off toward the edges instead of collecting in the center.

Warranty

The cover carries a 15 year warranty, and a warranty card ships in the box with the rest of the bundle.
