Product details
The Polaris G9 is the adapter coupling that bridges two generations of Polaris plumbing. It takes the old style 3/4 inch Polaris line and brings it up to the 1-1/2 inch connection the current cleaners expect.
When you need it
Older installations put a 3/4 inch female threaded fitting in the pool wall. New Polaris cleaners ship with the 9-100-9001 wall fitting, which is the larger style and will not thread into it. Rather than opening the wall and repiping, the G9 threads into the existing 3/4 inch fitting and gives you the 1-1/2 inch connection for the newer wall fitting.
