Product details

The Jandy 8034 is the Neverlube 2-in-1 backwash valve, supplied as the valve only with no unions. Jandy lists it alongside models 8034J and BWVL-NVL in the same Neverlube backwash valve group.

What it does

A backwash valve is the piece that lets you reverse flow through the filter and dump the dirty water to waste instead of back into the pool. The 2-in-1 handles both positions, filtering and backwashing, on a single handle, so there is one thing to turn at the pad instead of a set of ball valves to sequence in the right order.

What is included

The valve body only. Unions are not part of this listing, so either reuse the ones already on the system or order them separately when you plan the swap. Check the size and the layout of your existing valve before ordering so the new one drops into the same run of pipe.
