The Hayward SP0425 is the SelectaFlo high efficiency D.E. filter valve, with a 2 in. socket connection and a 2-1/2 in. slip connection. It is the genuine Hayward part.

Where it goes

The valve is designed for use with Hayward ProGrid and DEP500 Series D.E. filters. It is what you turn to move the filter between its operating positions, so it sees every backwash, every rinse and every hour of filtering the system does.

What is in the box

The valve only. The filter tank, grids and clamp are separate items, so this is the part to order when the valve itself is leaking, seized or worn rather than the filter body.
