⌄The Hayward DEX2400C is the top collector manifold used across the Pro-Grid and Micro-Clear DE filter lines. It sits over the grid stack, collects the filtered water from each grid and sends it up to the outlet. This is the genuine Hayward part.
Why the flex air relief matters
DE filters trap air at the top of the tank. This manifold carries a flexible air relief tube up to the tank so that when you open the manual air relief, the trapped air has a clear path out. Less air in the tank means the full grid area stays wet and working.
Fit
It fits the Pro-Grid DE2420, DE3620, DE4820, DE6020 and DE7220, the Micro-Clear DE2400, DE3600, DE4800 and DE6000, and the stainless steel Micro-Clear filters. The manifold is plastic, so it is not affected by the water chemistry inside the tank.
The DEX2400C is the manifold only. If your grids are torn or the fabric is worn thin, pair it with a full grid set for the filter.
