Product details

The Pentair 261185 is the complete 2 in. top mount multiport valve for Tagelus TA sand filters. It clamps onto the 8.35 in. tank flange and gives the filter its six positions plus a dedicated winterizing position on a positive lock diverter.

Materials that last outdoors

The body is corrosion resistant PVC and the diverter is heavy duty Noryl. The handle is one large piece, so there is no separate knob or pin to loosen over the seasons.

Before you order

This is the 2 in. valve. Confirm your Tagelus is plumbed in 2 in. pipe and that the tank flange measures 8.35 in. across. If the old valve clamp is corroded, replace it at the same time with the matching 8.35 in. Pentair clamp.

Is this 1.5 in. or 2 in.?
2 in. Pentair also makes a 1.5 in. six way HiFlow valve for smaller plumbing, which is a different part.
What is it made of?
The body is corrosion resistant PVC and the diverter is heavy duty Noryl. The handle is one piece.
Do I need a new clamp?
The valve mounts with an 8.35 in. clamp on the tank flange. If your existing clamp is corroded or the bolt is seized, order the Pentair 8.35 in. Tagelus valve clamp with it.
