Product details

The Hayward SP0715X62 is the genuine Vari-Flo side mount control valve for Pro Series sand filters, supplied as a complete assembly with 2 in. plumbing ports and the pressure gauge. It arrives preplumbed to fit the S310, S311 and S360 tanks.

Six positions

A lever action handle dials in filter, backwash, waste, rinse, closed or recirculate. The built in sight glass shows the water leaving during a backwash, so you can see it run clear and know when to move to rinse instead of guessing.

Check the spacing

The two pipes are set 6 in. apart centerline to centerline with 3-1/2 in. between them. Confirm those figures on your tank before ordering, and note this is the side mount valve, not a top mount.

Which filters does it fit?
It is preplumbed for the Hayward Pro Series side mount sand filters S310, S311 and S360. Check the pipe spacing against your tank: 6 in. centerline to centerline, 3-1/2 in. between the pipes.
Does it come with the gauge?
Yes, the pressure gauge is included with the valve assembly.
What are the six positions?
Filter for normal running, backwash to flush the sand to waste, rinse to resettle the bed, waste to bypass the filter to the drain, recirculate to move water without filtering, and closed.
Is this a top mount valve?
No. This is the side mount version with 2 in. ports for tanks that have the valve plumbed to the side. Top mount Pro Series filters use a different valve.
