The Pentair JV3 is the venturi shell connector for Jet Vac pool cleaners. It is molded plastic and it is the factory replacement.
What it does
The Jet Vac works on a venturi. Water driven through the shell creates the suction that lifts debris off the floor, and this connector is part of that path. When it cracks or distorts, the path leaks, the suction drops and the cleaner drives around picking up very little.
Jet Vac or Letro
The Jet Vac was originally a Letro cleaner and is now catalogued under Pentair. Both names refer to the same machine, so do not be thrown if your parts diagram or your old receipt says Letro.
