The Jandy R0317200 is the hot surface igniter for the Lite2 LD pool heater.

What it does

A hot surface igniter lights the burners on an electronic ignition gas heater by glowing red hot when power is applied, replacing the older standing pilot light method used on earlier heaters. When an igniter cracks or stops glowing, the heater will fail to light even though gas and power are present.

Fit and compatibility

This igniter is built for the Laars Lite and Lite2 LD heater platform, and it is sold under both the Zodiac and Jandy names for the same part number, R0317200.
