The Gecko 91694200 is the replacement impeller for 2 HP XP2 pumps, part of the Aqua-Flo Flo-Master XP and XP2 wet end family. It is cut specifically for the 2 HP rating.

Why impellers fail

An impeller is the part that actually moves the water. Hair and grit work into the vanes and block them, and years of flow slowly erode the edges. The result is a pump that starts, runs and sounds completely normal while pushing a fraction of the water it used to. Owners usually chase the filter and the basket first and find nothing wrong with either.

Match the horsepower

XP2 impellers are not interchangeable across horsepower ratings. The 1.5 HP and 2.5 HP versions are different part numbers, so read the rating off your pump before you order. Fitting the wrong one changes how hard the pump works the motor.

While the wet end is open

The mechanical seal has to be disturbed to get the impeller off, so plan on replacing it in the same visit rather than reusing a seal that has already been unseated.

Will this fit my 1.5 HP XP2?
No. Impellers are cut per horsepower. The 1.5 HP and 2.5 HP XP2 impellers are separate part numbers.
How do I know the impeller is the problem?
If the pump runs at normal speed and sounds right but flow is weak, and the basket and filter are clean, the impeller is either clogged or worn.
Should I replace anything else while I am in there?
The mechanical seal comes apart with the impeller, and a wear ring and volute o-ring sit in the same wet end. Techs commonly change the seal at the same time.
Is this a genuine part?
