Product details

The Pentair IntelliBrite 5G is the color changing LED pool light, and this is the 12 volt version with a 100' cord. It fits a standard Pentair niche and runs from a low voltage transformer rather than line voltage.

What the 5G does differently

LED is where pool lighting went for good reason: the energy draw, the lifetime and the control are all better than an incandescent lamp. The IntelliBrite 5G adds a custom reflector and a lens designed around it, which is what makes it one of the more efficient underwater lights available. More of the light produced ends up in the water instead of scattered inside the fixture.

Color

This is the color model, so it runs fixed colors as well as Pentair's color light shows rather than white only.

Cord length and voltage

The 100' cord covers most runs back to a transformer or equipment pad. Confirm the niche and transformer are set up for 12V before ordering, since Pentair also build this light in a 120 volt version.
