Product details

The Pentair 356164S is the genuine OEM motor kit for the IntelliFlo3 VSF 1.5 HP pool pump. It is supplied as a kit, not as a bare motor.

When you need it

On a variable speed pump the motor and its drive electronics are the expensive half of the unit. When that side fails, the wet end is usually still perfectly serviceable, and a motor kit puts the pump back in service for far less than a whole new pump.

Match the horsepower

Pentair builds the IntelliFlo3 VSF in 1.5 HP and 3 HP versions and they take different motor kits. This is the 1.5 HP part, so check the label on your pump before ordering.

While the pump is apart

The seal plate, the seal plate o-ring and the diffuser are separate Pentair parts. With the pump open it is worth inspecting all three and replacing anything worn, so the job is done once.
