The Pentair 350105S is the replacement motor kit for the IntelliFlo VF, VS 3050 and VS+SVRS inground pool and spa pumps: a 3.2 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in the almond finish, made for the pumps Pentair built before August 2015.

What it is

The motor is the part that turns the drive's electrical output into the shaft power that spins the impeller. On an IntelliFlo that is a PMSM, a permanent magnet motor whose speed tracks the frequency from the variable frequency drive, which is what lets the pump hold whatever rpm you program. This kit is the motor; the drive and keypad are a separate assembly.

Before you order

Check the manufacture date on the pump label. The 350105S is for IntelliFlo pumps dated before August 2015. Confirm the model is a VF, VS 3050 or VS+SVRS, and note the almond color if matching the housing matters to you.

Which IntelliFlo pumps take this motor?
IntelliFlo VF, VS 3050 and VS+SVRS inground pool and spa pumps built before August 2015.
My pump is newer than August 2015. Is this the right kit?
No. Pentair lists the 350105S for pumps dated before August 2015. Check the manufacture date on the pump label and match the motor to that date.
Does it include the drive?
No. This is the motor kit only. The drive assembly with keypad is a separate Pentair kit.
What does PMSM mean?
Permanent magnet synchronous motor. The rotor uses permanent magnets and its speed follows the drive frequency exactly, which is how the IntelliFlo holds a set rpm.
