Product details

The Perma-Cast PS-4019-P is a Perma Socket anchor molded in Cycolac plastic, 4 inches deep and finished in deep bronze. It takes rails built from 1.9 inch outside diameter tubing.

How the anchor works

The socket is set into the deck and the rail drops into it. A PW-P wedge assembly then expands inside the socket to lock the rail so it cannot lift or rotate. The wedge is a separate part, so order one with the socket if the old wedge is corroded or stripped.

Plastic instead of metal

A deck pocket holds water. Metal sockets corrode there and eventually seize a rail in place or crack the surrounding concrete. The Cycolac body avoids that failure mode while keeping the same fit as the original.

Check before ordering

Two things matter: the tubing must be 1.9 inch OD, and the pocket must accept a 4 inch deep socket. Perma-Cast lists shallower sockets for decks that cannot take the depth.
