The Raypak B-R206A-EN-C is the 200K BTU ASME commercial natural gas pool heater, built with a bronze header and a copper heat exchanger and set for elevations from 0 to 2000 ft.

Where the ASME rating matters

Commercial pools, and many municipal and code driven residential jobs, are specified around the ASME build. If the drawing calls for ASME, a standard heater will not pass inspection.

Copper or cupro-nickel

This is the copper exchanger version, which suits a pool with balanced water and regular maintenance. Where the water runs salt, low pH or high flow, the cupro-nickel version of the same size is the better buy. Digital IID ignition means no standing pilot to relight.

On this model the C is the copper heat exchanger. The X versions use cupro-nickel instead.
Is this rated for commercial use?
Yes. It is the ASME commercial swimming pool heater version of the 200K BTU model.
What elevation is it built for?
0 to 2000 ft. Sites above that need a high elevation build.
Should I use copper or cupro-nickel?
Copper suits a pool with balanced, well maintained water. If the pool runs salt, low pH or high flow, the cupro-nickel version is the safer exchanger.
