The Pentair R211226 is the silt bag for the Kreepy Krauly leaf trap, model 180. It is the fine mesh version, made to hold silt and small debris as well as leaves.
Coarse or fine
Leaf traps take more than one grade of bag. A coarse bag empties easily and handles leaves and twigs, but fine dirt goes straight through it and ends up in the pump strainer. A silt bag catches that material, at the cost of clogging faster and needing emptying more often. If your pool sits under trees you probably want coarse; if it takes wind blown dust and sand, you want this one.
When to change it
Bags fail at the seams and get punctured by sticks, and UV makes the mesh brittle over a couple of seasons. Hold the bag up to the light after you empty it, and if you can see daylight through a tear it is done. A holed silt bag looks like it is working while everything it should be catching goes past it.
