Product Description
⌄The Pentair 071315S is the genuine square flange replacement motor for 1.5 HP WhisperFlo pumps. It is an energy efficient design wired for 208V or 230V, finished in almond to match the pump.
Installation
The motor bolts to the WhisperFlo seal plate on the square flange pattern, so the wet end and plumbing stay put. Plan on a new shaft seal while the pump is apart; a WhisperFlo seal kit is sold separately and is cheap insurance against a leak behind the new motor.
California
This motor is not California Title 20 compliant and cannot ship to California. Pool owners there should look at the Century VGreen Evo variable speed square flange motors, EVQ130, EVQ165 and EVQ225, which meet the California Energy Commission rules and fit the same pumps.
