Product details

The Lasco 437-420 is a 4 by 2 inch Schedule 40 PVC reducer bushing, with a spigot end that inserts into a 4 inch fitting and a slip socket sized for 2 inch pipe on the other end.

What it does

A reducer bushing steps a larger fitting opening down to a smaller pipe size in one piece. Here the spigot end inserts into a 4 inch socket, and the reduced end glues onto 2 inch Schedule 40 pipe.

Fit and compatibility

Use it anywhere a 4 inch Schedule 40 fitting, such as a filter or valve port, needs to step down to 2 inch pipe.

Before you order

Confirm the reduced side is slip, not threaded, since a bushing with a female thread outlet at the same overall size is a different part. Glue the spigot end into its socket and the slip end onto its pipe with PVC primer and cement.
