The Pentair 520657 is the UOC motherboard for EasyTouch systems with 8 auxiliary circuits, in the pool and spa configuration. It is the genuine Pentair replacement.

What the motherboard does

The UOC motherboard is the brain of the EasyTouch enclosure. It carries the logic that reads the control panel, drives the relays and valve actuators, and talks to the rest of the system. When it fails, the symptoms are usually a panel that will not boot, circuits that no longer respond, or programming that will not hold.

Order the right version

Pentair builds this board in more than one configuration. Count the auxiliary circuits in your panel: this is the 8 auxiliary version, and a 4 auxiliary board and a single body board are separate parts. Getting the count right before you order saves a return.

Which EasyTouch systems take this board?
EasyTouch pool and spa systems with 8 auxiliary circuits. Pentair 520657 is the UOC motherboard for that configuration.
What if my system has 4 auxiliaries?
Then you need the 4 auxiliary UOC motherboard instead, which is a separate Pentair part. Count the aux circuits on your panel before ordering.
Is this the same as the control panel?
No. The UOC motherboard is the main board inside the enclosure. The EasyTouch control panel, the part with the buttons and screen, is sold separately.
When does a motherboard need replacing?
When the panel will not power up, loses its programming repeatedly, or stops driving relays and valve actuators even though the power and load side test good.
