Product details

The Pentair GloBrite 602104 is a 12 volt, 15 watt white LED light for pools, spas and shallow water features, supplied with a 100 ft cord. Pentair rates its output as the equivalent of 190 W of incandescent light.

What it does

GloBrite is Pentair's LED light for accenting steps, baja shelves, beach entries and other shallow water features. The white version has three brightness levels, 100, 75 and 50 percent, chosen by cycling the wall switch off and on. It can also be run from Pentair IntelliTouch, EasyTouch and SunTouch control systems.

Fit and power

The light mounts in a GloBrite niche, sold separately for gunite (620040), vinyl (620039) and fiberglass (620041) pools. It needs a 12 VAC safety isolation transformer. Pentair recommends no more than five GloBrite lights on a 100 W transformer and no more than 150 ft of total cable between the transformer and the light. Do not run the light for more than 30 seconds out of the water.

Before you order

The GloBrite White comes with a 50 ft cord (602103), a 100 ft cord (602104, this light) or a 150 ft cord (602105). The LED light is not serviceable, so a failed unit is replaced whole. Pentair requires installation by a licensed or certified electrician or a qualified pool professional, following the National Electrical Code.

Will the GloBrite 602104 work in my pool?
The Pentair GloBrite 602104 installs in a GloBrite niche, which Pentair makes for gunite (620040), vinyl (620039) and fiberglass (620041) pools. The niche is a separate part from the light.
What transformer does the GloBrite 602104 need?
