Product details
This is the HydroTools 8926, the replacement weir style door flap for HydroTools and Olympic skimmers. It measures 5-3/4 inches wide by 4-7/8 inches tall.
Why the weir matters
The weir door is the piece that makes a skimmer skim. It floats up against the water line so the pump pulls a thin, fast sheet of surface water over it, which is what carries leaves and film into the basket. When the pump shuts off, the door falls closed and traps what you just collected. Without it, debris drifts straight back out into the pool overnight.
Before you order
Weir doors are not interchangeable between skimmer brands, so measure the flap you are taking out against 5-3/4 inches wide by 4-7/8 inches tall. If those match, this one drops in by hand with no tools.
