Product details

The Aladdin B-214 is the replacement skimmer basket for Season Master skimmers. It measures 7-5/16 in. outside diameter at the top, 4-3/16 in. at the bottom, and stands 3 in. tall.

What the basket does

The skimmer basket is the first thing between the pool surface and the pump. It catches leaves, bugs and larger debris so they never reach the pump strainer basket or the impeller. A basket doing its job saves the pump work and saves you from pulling debris out of the strainer pot.

When to replace it

Baskets live in sun and chlorinated water and eventually go brittle. Cracks usually start at the rim or the handle, and once the body splits, debris passes straight through. If the old basket is cracked or crushed, measure it against the dimensions above and swap it out.
