The Polaris 6-212-00 is the jet sweep assembly for the Vac-Sweep 65, the Vac-Sweep 165 and the Turbo Turtle. It is the genuine Polaris part and comes as the complete assembly.
What the jet sweep does
These cleaners pick up debris in two ways. The body drives its pattern across the floor, and the sweep hose whips behind it, knocking dirt off walls, steps and corners so the cleaner and the filter can catch it. The jet sweep assembly is what feeds and holds that hose. When it cracks or breaks away, the tail stops moving and the cleaner only collects what it happens to drive over.
Before you order
The assembly is supplied complete, so there is nothing to build up. The sweep hose is a separate part, and it is worth looking at the hose at the same time, since a sweep that has been thrashing against a broken mount usually shows wear at both ends.
