The Raypak AVIA P-R264A-EN-C is a 264,000 BTU natural gas pool heater with a low NOx burner, a copper tube heat exchanger and WiFi built in. It is the AVIA model rated for any elevation from sea level to 10,000 ft, so one unit covers coastal and mountain installs alike.

Built to last on the pad

The heat exchanger uses copper tubing with polymer headers, a pairing chosen for durability and resistance to corrosion. Raypak adds its ProTek Shield for extra protection against rust and corrosion, which extends the working life of the heater in wet, chemical heavy environments.

Control from your phone

WiFi is integrated into the heater rather than sold as an add on. Once connected, you can set temperature, monitor status and manage energy use from a mobile app instead of walking out to the equipment pad.

Is the Raypak AVIA 264, P-R264A-EN-C, natural gas or propane?
Natural gas. The propane AVIA is a separate model.
Does the Raypak AVIA 264 need a module for Wi-Fi?
No. Wi-Fi is built in, and Raypak's Raymote app, which is free, controls and monitors the heater once it is on the home network.
What elevation is the Raypak AVIA 264 rated for?
Raypak's catalog lists the natural gas AVIA for 0 to 10,000 ft with no separate high altitude model. Its manual adds that the heater is CSA certified to 4,500 ft and operable to 10,000 ft on natural gas.
What is the difference between the copper AVIA and the NiTek AVIA?
The heat exchanger tubing. Model numbers ending in C, like this one, have copper fin tubes. Those ending in N are Raypak's HD models, with its nickel coated NiTek tubing. Raypak rates both at 84 percent.
What warranty does Raypak give the AVIA 264?
Three years on the whole heater, which Raypak's catalog gives for all residential replacements and new builds.
