Product details

The Raypak AVIA 399K BTU natural gas heater is the low NOx model with copper tubing, part number 018033. It carries 399,000 BTU of input, which puts it at the top of the residential range and makes it a fit for larger pools and for pool and spa combinations.

Connected control

WiFi is built into the heater rather than added on. It pairs with the Raypak app, so heating can be checked and changed from a phone instead of walking out to the pad and working the keypad.

Built to last in pool water

The AVIA carries the ProTech Shield sacrificial anode. The anode corrodes first, on purpose, and protects the internal components while it does. The heat exchanger runs copper tubing. The heater is backed by a standard 3 year warranty.

Installation notes

This is the natural gas version, and it is rated for elevations from sea level to 10,000 feet. A heater of this size ships by freight, so plan for a curbside delivery and have gas and electrical service sized before it arrives.

What fuel does it burn?
