Product details
The Raypak H000333 is the 3/8 inch 10K thermistor coil sensor used by units running the 9350 and 9353 controls. It is the genuine Raypak replacement.
Why the value matters
A thermistor reports temperature as a resistance, and the control is calibrated to a specific curve. The 10K rating here is what the 9350 and 9353 expect. A sensor that physically fits but reads on a different curve will hand the control a wrong number every time.
When to replace it
Readings that sit well off actual water temperature, wander, or peg at an extreme with the unit cold are the usual signs. Swapping the sensor is a straightforward way to rule it out before chasing the control itself.

What does this sensor do?
It reports water temperature to the control as a resistance value. Everything the control decides about firing and cycling rests on that reading.
Is it the right resistance for my unit?
It is the 10K thermistor specified for the 9350 and 9353 controls. A sensor of a different value will read wrong even if it fits.
