Product details

The Raypak H000334 is the coil temp sensor, the genuine Raypak replacement temperature sensor for the coil.

What it does

The sensor reports coil temperature back to the heater control. The control uses that reading to decide what to do next, so an inaccurate sensor produces decisions made on a temperature that does not exist. That commonly presents as a fault code or a heater that will not fire, even though the burner or compressor side is in good order.

Before you order

Raypak fits more than one temperature sensor across its heater and heat pump range, and they are not interchangeable. Check the part number called out for your model against H000334 rather than going by appearance.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What does this sensor do?
It is the coil temp sensor, reading the temperature at the coil so the control can act on it.
Is it a genuine Raypak part?
Yes. It is the Raypak part, number H000334.
Will it fit my heater?
Raypak uses more than one temperature sensor across its range. Match H000334 against the part number called out for your model before ordering.
Why would the sensor need replacing?
A sensor that has drifted or opened makes the control read a temperature that is not there, which usually shows up as a fault code or a heater that will not run even though the heating side is fine.
