Product details
The Jandy 7790 is a Jandy Pro Series temperature sensor with a 15 ft gray cord, used for air, water or solar readings on any Zodiac or Polaris control system. It ships with the sensor and an o-ring.
Placement decides the reading
The same sensor does all three jobs. Installed into the plumbing, it reports water temperature. Mounted out of direct sunlight and away from power centers, it reports air temperature. For solar heating, it goes into the solar catcher. Getting the location right matters more than anything else here: a sensor in the sun will read the sun, not the air.
Compatibility
It is the standard sensor across the Zodiac and Polaris control systems, so it covers the common automation panels without a model by model check.
